As a teacher of Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga, I can offer you Private tuition in either style. My experience of Vinyasa and passion for Restorative Yoga means that we can explore these elements together to come up with a Personal program tailored to your needs and desires.
I believe the most effective way to receive the real benefits from Private Yoga is to offer Private Yoga Packages. This means continuity, commitment and quality connection from me as the teacher, but also from you, as the student. Together we can work on certain areas or issues over time, rather than just one sixty minute session.

"Waiting to Exhale" - Release, Relax and Breathe
Inspired by my first Yoga experience - that "A-HA" moment.
A combination of gentle Vinyasa flow movements to stretch and move the body followed by Restorative Yoga postures to open and relax.
This powerful combo gives you the release of movement through the Vinyasa, breath awareness and gentle muscle stretch. Some standing postures build strength and flexibility. We then move to the floor level for the Restorative Yoga. Allowing the props to fully support the body, you can release into stillness. Let the props do the work as you relax the body and mind and just BREATHE !
A fabulous way to de-stress through Yoga movement with breath - Exhale and release. Letting that release carry you through to the quietness and stillness of the Restorative Yoga postures.
This package can help improve your existing Home practice, or encourage you to start one!
You will feel more confident to attend a group class or workshop, knowing the Yoga words and postures a little better.

"Surrender to Stillness" - Listen to the quietness within
This package is all about Stillness, in body and mind.
Embracing all the Restorative Yoga principles of being passive within the postures, this package is the ultimate Relaxation pack.
Love the idea of a 2o minute Savasana? Well this is the core of this package.
All poses are at floor level using the wonderful support of blankets, bolsters and blocks -these props do all the work for you!
We set the posture up together finding the most comfortable and beneficial pose for your individual condition. Based on the teachings of BKS Iyengar and Lasater Yoga, the pose can be head above the heart, head below the heart, or head even with the heart.
Once set up with all props in place, all you need to do is relax and breathe.
Let the body switch from the usual Sympathetic nervous system to the Parasympathetic nervous system, the bodies natural response to feeling comfortable and safe.
By holding the postures for longer we allow this transition to occur. This can take up to 15 minutes and is why the 20 minute Savasana is so important. This is the state of deep relaxation and this is our aim - to surrender to this peace and stillness so we can become quiet. In this quietness, we can listen to our Inner self, our Real self and Reconnect.
